Mpls Public Art and OLSON Icon “Brickman” Takes Flight

Brickman, a piece of Minneapolis public art and our beloved icon, descended via crane from his perch above Olson's Loring Corners office building on Monday morning to prepare for his leading role in the 2010 Minneapolis St. Patrick's Day parade on March 17.
Cast and characters from the Minneapolis Irish parade gathered to watch in hopes of garnering public excitement for Wednesday’s event, including Sean Clerkin, the founder of the St. Patrick’s Day Association of Minneapolis, Olson’s CEO John Olson, Irish American businesswoman Sue McLean and Annette Miller, winner of the 2010 Ms. Blarney contest.
Keep your eyes out for Brickman to reappear in the parade Wednesday evening.
