Olson Promotes Two to Creative Director

Olson creative up-and-comers Matt Burgess and Brian Hurley have been promoted to creative directors at the agency to guide and inspire brands like General Mills and the University of Minnesota.

Matt, a copywriter, joined Olson in 2008 after working for Campbell Mithun and Best Buy. He graduated from the University of Minnesota and Miami Ad School.

Brian joined Olson in 2007 after working as an art director at Martin/Williams. He, too, is a graduate of the University of Minnesota.

"Both Matt and Brian generate terrific thinking with their creative executions and also in innovative media ideas," says Dennis Ryan, chief creative officer, Olson. "This makes them a huge asset to our department, despite their inveterate pranking."
