Olson Adds Pei Wei Asian Diner Creative Work

New ad campaign builds upon public relations efforts for fast-growing fast-casual concept

Pei Wei Asian Diner, owned and operated by P.F. Chang’s China Bistro, has partnered with Olson to oversee strategy, advertising, digital and media work for the brand. For the past three years, Olson PR in Chicago has managed public relations efforts for the 173-restaurant chain.

A new integrated campaign emphasizing Pei Wei’s freshly prepared, handcrafted Asian dishes launched Monday, October 17, with radio, online, mobile and outdoor in four major markets.

"Olson helped us look at our brand through a new lens,” says Terry Haley, Pei Wei’s VP of marketing. “Through our work together, we delivered a quality and freshness story without neglecting or abandoning a strong emotional proposition. We’re excited about how the partnership with Olson will help enhance and elevate Pei Wei.”

Pei Wei Asian Diner is a fast-casual restaurant that serves freshly prepared, wok-seared, contemporary Asian dishes from five distinct Asian cultures in a relaxed, warm environment with friendly, attentive counter service and take-out flexibility. Pei Wei offers the same spirit of hospitality and commitment to providing fresh, high-quality Asian food at a great value that has made P.F. Chang’s China Bistro restaurants successful. There are 173 Pei Wei restaurants open in the United States. The concept began in Phoenix, Ariz., in July 2000.
